Railway Industry: steel/aluminium welding system

O.L.C.I. Engineering has created a new production solution, consisting of an automatic gantry equipped with 2 arc-welding robots with an integrated welding joint volumetric check and instantaneous correction laser unit, and 2 robots for welded joint brushing. This solution has drastically reduced optical checks and reworking operations.

O.L.C.I. Engineering process solution has been successfully used by an international train manufacturer to assemble 25 m long aluminium extrusion profiles, joined together to form floor, bodysides and roof of high-speed train wagons.
