Free Expression, High Productivity Doors Assembly Line

O.L.C.I. Engineering process solution “Free Expression” allowed the production of left and right doors in the same line, with handling robots on one side and welding robots on the other side of the line, resulting in a total saturation of their cycle time without any time loss.

Thanks to this process solution, our Customer obtained a production output of 124 doors (62 left and 62 right doors) every 60 minutes with a considerable reduction of total investment:

• quantity of robots reduced by 30%,
• all other integrated systems (for example the coating application system) reduced by 50%,
• space saving by 30%.
